Seann Wells
Associate
As an associate with FireWise, Seann Wells’ diverse background provides a depth of knowledge that is informed and current. A member of the fire service since 2002, Seann’s experience includes performing the duties of Deputy Fire Chief with the Metchosin Volunteer Fire Department. Seann is currently a civilian Fire Suppression Officer with National Defence, where his responsibilities include both shipboard and land-based firefighting. Seann is also an experienced fire inspector and investigator.
Seann is the emergency medical responder (EMR) Head Instructor for CFB Esquimalt Fire/Rescue, liaising with municipal and federal counterparts to ensure instructional and standards compliance within the NDFS of Canada system. He is familiar with the many aspects of fire safety: operations management, business planning and strategy, training and project planning.
Seann is an integral part of the FireWise operations team, and his roles include providing fire inspections and critical infrastructure assessments for municipalities and First Nations. Seann also lends his experience to help make the live-fire practicums he teaches and conduct a rewarding experience for course attendees.
Seann calls Vancouver Island home and looks after clients across Canada from here. He’s often on the road performing critical infrastructure assessments or investigating unusual spaces as he inspects buildings to ensure their safety.
